When I was a kid, adults always asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up.

I figured out pretty quick that I had a lot more options about the future if I never grew up.

As a pilot, I've never had to grow up, or work.

YMMV.

Interventional Cardiologist, Legal Consultant/Expert Witness, Real Estate Investor and since I've owned my Mooney, I sometimes feel like a professional Dog Flyer-er :)

(cool post by the way to get to see what everyone does besides fly Mooneys)

A good friend of mine who loves to fly with me is an Interventional Cardiologist. To this day I still don't know what that means.

We perform angioplasties and stents, and other procedures.

Thanks for the clarification. I know he performs those procedures but wasn't aware that is what "interventional" meant.

I also tell planes what to do, in a center however.

I find especially on pilot forums everyone already knows everything, I'm not really here to represent my employer and open myself up to scrutiny by the agency.

Peevee, just relax and enjoy talking about flying. From time to time, you may have a different perspective on something being discussed, because you are privy to what happens on the other side of the radio. Answer our what / why questions as best as you can, but don't get yourself in trouble!

You may get some good natured ribbing, just because controllers are rare creatures in the pilot world. I know two controllers, and many, many pilots.

I'm a Stock Broker and Financial Adviser.  Saw lots of doctors, engineers and IT people, but I didn't see anyone else doing what I do.   Mark me "other".

Welcome EIR!

Currently I work as an IA in SoCal for a part 91 operation. The Mooney stays anywhere I can find space for it. Airplane partner lives in the Bay Area and we make it work. Past work included 10 years on the airshow circuit maintaining a few preformers airplanes.

Slightly addicted to aviation. My wife puts up with it. However, We need to start actually taking vacations instead of traveling to cool places to work on airplanes. ... Headed to Oshkosh on Sunday...
