Becca Posted July 1, 2022 Report Posted July 1, 2022 Excuse the hubris, I've seen a few posts about Oshkosh plans, but nothing about a get together (and have heard sadly it will be another pizza-party-free year.. but correct me if I am wrong), I would still like to visit with our MooneySpace friends at Osh! I assume @jetdriven would like the same, but he is not much of a planner. So I wanted to start this thread for the following purposes: 1. Anyone want to plan a dinner at Friar Tucks one night? Perhaps Monday or Tuesday? Say so here, and I will try to collect people together! 2. When you arrive, you can reply to this thread and post where you are parked. We will do the same. We will have a MooneySpace supply worth of Spotted Cow beer for anyone who stops by! Our current plan (weather luck permitting) is to be at Osh on Saturday through Thursday (camped in the N40 if N40 luck permitting.) Becca 1 Quote
MooneyMitch Posted July 2, 2022 Report Posted July 2, 2022 So terrific you’re putting this together!! Thank you. Wish I were coming this year. Quote
ElkoRandy20J Posted July 2, 2022 Report Posted July 2, 2022 I plan to be there Sunday through Wednesday. However no camping for me. It would be great to meet up. 1 Quote
67 m20F chump Posted July 3, 2022 Report Posted July 3, 2022 I’m going to drive up with a travel trailer this year. I’m going to show up a few days early and play around in Wisconsin. Maybe check out Madison etc. my point is I should have a spot not that far from the action with a Joe jr. Grill and a truck. 1 Quote
peterl Posted July 3, 2022 Report Posted July 3, 2022 We are planing to come from Germany with our Acclaim. We will be camping with a group of planes from Europe organized by a German Plane & Pilot magazine. Will arrive hopefully on Monday. 6 Quote
Raptor05121 Posted July 3, 2022 Report Posted July 3, 2022 I got Friday-Saturday-Sunday off from work. I'm trying to decide if I can afford to fly the Mooney up there or just non-rev for free and find a place to crash. Quote

We've never tried non-revving, but I've heard it can be pretty difficult even to get a jumpseat because, you know, its Oshkosh and the pilots are getting there like moths to a flame. Fly the Mooney Quote
T. Peterson Posted July 4, 2022 Report Posted July 4, 2022 I would rather go to the Dentist than Jumpseat anywhere! Torrey Quote

geoffb Posted July 6, 2022 Report Posted July 6, 2022 My engine seems to like to eat cylinders in late June, so for the second year in a row I won't be attending. Quote
67 m20F chump Posted July 6, 2022 Report Posted July 6, 2022 Does anyone know if Mooney corporate is going to be at Oshkosh? 1 Quote
