Carpet kits and plastic.

Hello everyone I am brand new to the forum and a first time plane owner so i am hoping i can get lead in the right direction. I just bought a 1971 aerostar mooney m20f I am having trouble finding pre made interiors for the plane i would like to fine a carpet kit i can install myself is there a company I can order from or would it be better to go to a shop?

I second the SCS carpet. It makes airtex look like Home Depot carpet. I think airtex really is Home Depot carpet but the SCS is very high-quality.

Or stop in San Antonio on the way back to California and have Hector at Aero Comfort look at the airplane and ship you whatever you need for you to install.

If you are keeping this plane in super nice condition... SCS is a bit nicer/pricier than the airtex...

You May want to mention which type of budget you want to play with...

If the cost of the plane has you eating small blocks of dried noodles... Airtex is a perfect interior...

Haha. I want to do it right the first time I was planning on stopping in Texas the first night anyways so I will probably stop at school. I appreciate everyone's help and input.

Hector and his team have done several pieces of work for me.  They will do more.  Exceptional quality and value.

Carpet kit on one occasion.  Two headrests with Mooney logo embroidered on both on a separate occasion.  Recovering of one seat on another occasion.  They'll likely get the remaining seats and possibly the headliner soon.

Hector made these awesome-looking control wheels.  About 1 AMU.  The whole interior will be going to him eventually.
