aviatoreb Posted February 16, 2020 Report Posted February 16, 2020 Holy moly where is that? And he did that thing get there? And WHY?! Quote
carusoam Posted February 16, 2020 Report Posted February 16, 2020 Is that a friend or a foe with the helicopter? Seems there may be more to this story...? Best regards, -a- Quote

carusoam Posted February 16, 2020 Report Posted February 16, 2020 Wait til you see who owns the stolen registration/tail number... https://flightaware.com/live/flight/N818LD Wings of Hope. https://wingsofhope.ngo (?) same or different? Is there an Extra penalty for impersonating a good charity? Best regards, -a- Quote
Oscar Avalle Posted February 16, 2020 Report Posted February 16, 2020 The Story is Even stranger. There is a similar plane with the same registration flying in the US. Now THAT IS INTERESTING!!!https://aviation-safety.net/wikibase/209860 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro Quote
tigers2007 Posted February 16, 2020 Report Posted February 16, 2020 Clearly there is no Operators union established there. The grading is horrendous. It is as straight and level as a 2x4 from Home Depot. Did you see that first nose gear bounce? That must have been terrifying in the cockpit. Quote
carusoam Posted February 16, 2020 Report Posted February 16, 2020 Apparently the fleet of Hawker Sidellys are all wearing the same name tag.... Night ops into a remote dirt strip with trees all around... Get your flight sim going before the actual flights... +1 on keeping the nose light... To keep the nose from breaking off or darting... -1 on pulling back on the elevator too much... lots of extra drag, while running out of runway... Did the pilot at least get a centerline to try and follow? Best regards, -a- 1 Quote

Actually there are even 737s that operate out of dirt strips. Boeing has a special rough field kit with engine sweeper nozzles. Lots of video on youtube. Quote
rbridges Posted February 16, 2020 Report Posted February 16, 2020 (edited) No kidding. This video reminded me of the tom cruise movie where he's a drug runner for the CIA. Edited February 16, 2020 by rbridges Quote
INA201 Posted February 16, 2020 Report Posted February 16, 2020 These are the takeoffs you get away with one time only haha! Nice video and story. We forget about the drug running component of our pilot community. Quote
201er Posted February 16, 2020 Report Posted February 16, 2020 I wouldn’t even fly into something like that in a Mooney! Quote
ArtVandelay Posted February 16, 2020 Report Posted February 16, 2020 Are we sure Tom Cruise wasn’t in the pilot seat, I saw almost the exact scene in American Made? Quote
