FAA aircraft registration slow

Hey all

I’ve been trying to update my address on my aircraft registration- first time I sent it in was just before the shutdown. No joy.   Tried again sending a second copy just after the government  reopened.  Still no joy. 

Anyone else have issues with registrations?

I just renewed mine last week online and got it in the mail yesterday.

I’m in the middle of a address change with my registration renewal.  I called them on Monday and they were processing renewals/changes received Dec 28th. Guy I talked to said they process them in the order received and to be patient.

Took OK city 1 year when I purchased my E, the paper work was lost and had to be resent.......

I sent mine in awhile ago and haven't heard anything.   I haven't yet examined whether they cashed the check.

I’m an address change not a rereg / renew all so can’t do online unfortunately.

We bought the airplane on Dec 21st and the title change was online Feb 15th.  I was told they were working during the shutdown even though they weren't getting their paychecks on time.  I'm still waiting for the official registration card to come in the mail.

I'm hoping that this is an indication that GA is healthy and growing

I think everything has been delayed. My medical information hasn't been updated on the registry site as well.

I just checked my medical info and it’s updated, my appointment was on the 5th so that’s pretty quick.

That’s probably it, I bet basic med goes in a different review stack.

I just renewed the registration online and had my card within four or five days.

They emailed me back and said that they’re caught up through 12/26 for registrations.  

FAA is totally responsive on email I must say I’m impressed

Mine was received on 1/16 and was processed yesterday.

You can call them and find out how far you are in line.

Bought my 231 on 10/24/2018. Sent my registration in on 10/24/2018. Got a 120 day extension on 01/09/2019. Still haven't received my registration card.

Did a Class 2 medical on Jan 3rd - not updated yet.

I completed a check ride for a new certification on 30 November, and got the new certificate yesterday. I'm thinking most timelines are about the same?

I purchased my ‘65 C Mooney on 1/16/19 and received my registration card last week. Have you looked at the FAA website to see if the registration has been updated?

Got my registration yesterday.
