I think folks here are ramping up, but who knows when they can produce. I’ll wager the auto sector is hot after a way to be self reliant. Quote

carusoam Posted March 17, 2022 Report Posted March 17, 2022 Yikes… A little supply chain stress goes a long way! Long time, no see, Sandman! Somebody was discussing high compression ratio pistons recently… I was looking for you. Best regards, -a- Quote

That would explain a lot of the other incapacities. Don’t get me wrong, they have me looking at electric cars! Problem is, endurance or distance. Besides, I still like that soot producing diesel ram in the stable. Save the whales, shoot the seal’s. Quote

In fact, the current beer in my kegerator is a Rootbeer Porter from a local brew house. 3 Quote

cliffy Posted April 6, 2022 Report Posted April 6, 2022 (edited) Anyone who can't keep their Porsches straight doesn't deserve one ! :-) :-) Had an 82 911 SC here at one time GREAT vehicles Currently driving an 86 Rolls Royce BUT this has nothing to do with the thread so Back to our normally scheduled program- AeroCruze 100 sometime in the summer? Hmmm OK I've heard that before also We'll see Interesting that BK didn't do any of the work themselves Edited April 6, 2022 by cliffy Quote

carusoam Posted April 6, 2022 Report Posted April 6, 2022 Fake news!!! Can’t be a BK announcement… They included the year along with the season… “The company will be accepting orders soon and is anticipating deliveries to begin in Summer 2022. “ Let’s see if @Baker Avionics is around… Best regards, -a- Quote
LANCECASPER Posted April 7, 2022 Report Posted April 7, 2022 That's good news - there's a picture of one installed in a Mooney Quote

BendixKing has received STC approval for the AeroCruze 100 in the Mooney Series aircraft and is continuing to optimize the systems with an STC revision. Makes me wonder after all this time, what does optimizing the systems with STC revisions means not only to the development of the product but to the timeline as to when it will be released. Quote
carusoam Posted April 7, 2022 Report Posted April 7, 2022 Greg, Let’s parse this one for a bit… optimize the systems with an STC revision Optimize Systems Document Revision How does a documentation update optimize either hardware or software…? We would have to look to the author of that one… somebody in the marketing department at Duncan Aviation? Anyone want to invite the Duncan Aviation Guys to stop by? Somebody there must have the knowledge, experience, and desire to take the next step… Expect a YouTube, from inside a Mooney, video to help move the ball forwards… Best regards, -a- Quote

Or it could be changes to the installation procedure, a much lengthier process to push through the FAA. In either event, I doubt it will go quickly. Fortunately, my need is not great at this time, and I'm saving my pennies but not holding my breath to see whether BK will bring this out or if Dynon will get their AP approved for my use first. 1 Quote
