A lot of Pipers came from the factory with aluminum cables instead of copper.  They were horrible and really needed to be changed.  Since aluminum cables weren't installed on our Mooneys, I am dubious if there is any real benefit. 

With that said, if you need new cables, they are probably a very good option.
