I had similar thoughts during the Pearl Harbor tribute yesterday, only a few heros left from our last major battle.

In one sense this is a very good thing because it reflects that we have gone a very long time since our last world war.  Knock on wood.

Great Sunday Morning story. Talked about John flying cover for Lindbergh during some of his "advisor" flights in Pacific. John's capsule is within spitting distance of Spirit in Washington. Worth a watch. A true legend not just in aviation...God's speed
