+1 for the SavvyAnalysis folks and Mooney Spacer Paul Kortopates in particular.

I've been uploading my JPI data to the Savvy sites for 3 years but just recently signed up for their paid service.

Doing their gami and LOP mag tests lead to a very helpful report. Paul was very responsive and prompt and he gave me several useful suggestions.

Turns out my little 4 banger is happy to run 50+ LOP on either mag. And the average of 7 gami spread sweeps is 0.3. Great to know that ignition and fuel distribution are both fine. I feel my prejudice for fine wire plugs is justified. I might have to run more LOP @ ~8.7 gph (65%) when I'm doing a 4 hour plus leg. KMRN to KMSN in July comes to mind.

I'll second Bob's comments. Paul also reviewed my data as well prior to my annual. Always nice to know a familiar name is working with you. Thanks Paul!

Thank you too Chris! I appreciate that. Till now, I didn't equate your N number to your Mooney Space name so its great - now i feel I practically know you even though we have yet to meet. I don't get to contribute that many post here, so I know people don't read that much from me as I read from the rest of you,  but I sure try to follow as much of the site as I can. Thanks again.

I've been using the paid service for about 6 months now myself, and Paul's personal attention to us Mooney drivers is much appreciated.

I particularly like Savvy's new guarantee policy where they agree to pay for a major overhaul if they don't catch your engine problem prior to a failure. I hope I never have to use it.;)

Thanks Chuck! your comments are much appreciated too!

LOL's on the "new guarantee policy" - I am still laughing on that one!  And I too hope we never hear about you ever experiencing an engine failure!

I have an 830. Would it benefit me to do this? i never have.

Do you download data via USB and use EZTrends to display? If so you can open a free Savvyanalysis account and upload data from your PC. You can use their software freeware to study the data. It has some features that are more friendly than EZTrends. And for $129 you can have Savvy analyze flights.

Paul, is the info. needed for those of us that have a G-1000, in other words is the data downloadable and if so do you know how it's done. Thanx in advance.

No Mooney G1000 support until 401.34 (and we don't need to pollute this thread with those details)  Data logging is one of those features that only the current production group has.
