As I've said before, great looking airplane. With A/C but the vacuum system removed, what is the useful load?

Financing available?    lol   :)

Careful what you ask for  :)

You could trade yours in when you come down to TX to visit the factory. When you get home just tell anyone who asks that you had your airplane painted.

Any actvivity to report?

How's the TLS coming along?

DF

David,

Calls to Jimmy on the Ovation have picked up since I lowered the price.

The TLS flies incredibly well. I took it to Lubbock and back a couple weeks ago and it was a pleasure to fly. With the new interior it looks and smells like a new plane. I keep thinking about doing the Bravo conversion at some point, but the temps are exactly where they should be, the compressions are all in the 70's, so no rush.

Lance,

In my post on Bravo power settings I asked the question about whether the Bravo upgrade was really needed.

Are you keeping CHT's under 400 and TIT under 1600?

I keep the TIT at 1600 and the CHT's range from 365-380.

I wonder if Mooney and Lycoming had just recommended more reasonable, conservative power settings if the bravo conversion would have been necessary also. Some Bravo conversion owners who flew them hard still did cylinder replacements pretty early.

Welcome!! I hope you enjoy the company here! I sure have! Both members here Lance and Andy from Iowa have nice examples of current airplanes that are well maintained. (Ovation and Bravo). There are several others here trying to move airplanes. You are in the right spot.

Good luck!!
