midlifeflyer Posted December 17, 2015 Author Report Posted December 17, 2015 OK - how do I put a YouTube clip in a post as I've seen with others? Quote
Marauder Posted December 17, 2015 Report Posted December 17, 2015 OK - how do I put a YouTube clip in a post as I've seen with others? Go to your YouTube account and look for the "My Videos" button. Click it. For the video you want to share click the stacked dots on the right and select "Share" then "Copy Link". The. Go back to your post and paste it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Quote
midlifeflyer Posted December 17, 2015 Author Report Posted December 17, 2015 OK. Did that (actually thought I did it before but I used the "add other media" box) , but all I see now is a link, not the video itself as I've seen in other posts. Quote
carusoam Posted December 17, 2015 Report Posted December 17, 2015 It is a nice homecoming video. Easy enough to access via ordinary iPad.... Best regards, -a- Quote
midlifeflyer Posted December 17, 2015 Author Report Posted December 17, 2015 To see what I am talking about the clip being viewable in the thread, see the thread on Nut Tree http://mooneyspace.com/topic/17211-nut-tree-2-camera-gopro-flight-atcintercom/ Quote
Marauder Posted December 17, 2015 Report Posted December 17, 2015 Hmmm... Not sure how they do it. https://youtu.be/hj51-qu69Kg Quote
midlifeflyer Posted December 17, 2015 Author Report Posted December 17, 2015 Got it. Accidentally. You're not going to believe how easy it was. Just hit the return key after the url. Amazing! Quote
peevee Posted December 18, 2015 Report Posted December 18, 2015 being out east you might be able to do angelflight missions as well, I find them better coordinated and easier to set up than PnP Quote

They are all over the country. I did my first Angel Flight mission, for Angel Flight West, almost 15 years ago (Angel Flight: Getting So Much For Giving So Little) and am a member of two slightly overlapping Angel Flight organizations in this area. Definitely easier to set up. The Angel Flight (and related) organizations have a long history of setting up and organizing flights, coordinating them with other "wings," and, since they deal with people, they pretty much have to have much more formality in everything else. 1964-M20E Posted December 18, 2015 Report Posted December 18, 2015 Cute I would like to know what was going through the dog's mind during the flight especially takeoff and landing. One time flying with my dog a bird passed by and she got all excited and it looked like she thought she could catch it or as lest chase it. Quote

It has to do with the fact that there are more cities, more people, and the runs are probably not 800+ mile 3 person relays like they are out west. But hey, get defensive about it. Whatever. I stopped doing PnP because, quite frankly, I got tired of people disrespecting my time and resources. Quote

I really was wondering what being in the east had o do with it and explaining I was familiar with the organization. Quote

It took the vertical movie and filled he rest of the screen with "nothing." It's not really "cut off" is it? The part you see is all there is? Quote
