So you are flying from Guatemala City, Cozumel as a waypoint, but not a stop, and then to key west  non stop.

I can't wait to see your videos .

Great thanks

Weather permitting next day Jacksonville - KGAY or Leesburg Executive (depending if I get my old hangar back at KGAY).

KGAY=KGAI?

Someday if I have to give up the Johnson bar, I'd like to get 6 cylinders and a turbo in exchange. :-)

I may know a Good Rocket that might be coming up for sale!!!!!

Its only ever been beaten by one C Model....

Yes, I know. He landed at Cancun instead of Cozumel. The Mexicans are very touchy... when it comes to this... CZM is also complicated. It takes about 2 hours to land, fuel up get the paperwork done and continue. I am still balancing if I should land in Cozumel or just go the 6 hours to Keyw... I really don't know yet. When I came down I flew non stop... vey nice weather, but it was a VERY LONG DAY.

Well, N9341V is back in the air! After more than a month repairs have been finalized (overhauled gear motor) and, that is the good news she is back in the US. Yesterday a friend of mine (no time in my new job...) flew her from Mggt to Miami where I am going to pick her up and fly her to her new (old) hangar in KGAI. So I will be based now in Gaithersburg Maryland, after being away for more than 10 years,

No restaurant this decade. They do have some temporary commercial kitchen equipment for special occasions.

What happened to the restaurant at Sky Manor?

We can use my home drome and use the restaurant a mile up the street, Tiger's tail.  http://www.tigerstalenj.com

My big Chevy likes Mooney drive-ins. Load 'er up with MSers...

Any other ideas?

Best regards,

I'm on it!

Available dates are getting tight this year. Thanksgiving on one end, X-mas on the other. Leaves us two likely Saturdays in December.

12/5 or 12/12.  Back-up days would be Sunday 12/6 or 12/13...

Hey Oscar,  Check your schedule. Are you going to be available for a fly-in, possibly December 5th or 12th? (PM sent)

Let's try to get a day nailed down. A new thread specific to the event will be started...

Hey NJ Mooney pilots, Please be aware of your December schedules your input is going to be requested. :)

 Best regards,

Tomorrow I am flying my plane from Miami to KGAI. Then I have to go back to Guatemala to pick up my family. So it should work for me on the12th.

Reading many stories like this is why the Johnson bar was on my requirements list

Me too.  J-bar wasn't the easiest thing to learn, but well worth the effort.
