The best thing to do is bring the plane to a Mooney Service Center. If that's not avaliable to you I would make sure that the mechanic you choose is familiar with your style of Mooney and does several Mooney annuals per year. My mechanic is not a certified MSC but at any given time he will have 2 or 3 M20J's in his hanger that he has been maintaining for years.


If you don't have a Mooney service manuel you can get the list of items that must be completed for the annual off of their website... so I've been told.
