NJMP Fly In Flying W Saturday (Aug 24)

NJMP will be meeting for a lunch fly-in at the Flying W airport N14 on Saturday at noon. A nice turnout is expected.

 

But a few members may need rides so anyone who may be able to pick someone up (all nearby), please let me know so I can arrange it. KACY, N87, 39N are the airports where pickups may be needed.

Mike -- I should be able to make this and possibly pick someone up. The only thing that will prevent me is the air show at my home airport. I think I can get out before the TFR, but last year they had a bunch of warbirds parked on the taxiways and ramp area. I will check with the airport manager tonight and let you know.

I'd love to be there and would give people rides, but unfortunatly I cannot make it.  I have plans in town at 11:00, 1:00, and 4:00, so no flights for me on Saturday

It was more like a Mooney drive in than fly-in. Nonetheless it was great to see you guys and good to see Cris on his feet. Or more like sitting down. But whatever. You'll get your wings back on soon.

 

Good news is I got my bird out of the shop with oil changed, timing adjusted, and pitot/static cleared. Bad news is after overhauling the trim servo it still doesn't work in one direction!
