I have not flown the airplane and we are going to fly tomorrow to see if the fuel flow for take off is properly set. I probably need some advice from fellow Mooniacs. Thanks Everyone Alan It flies the same, with the only difference being Acceleration and climb being faster. You want your full power FF at around 29GPH at least. Enjoy. It makes an already spicy airplane just a bit more spicy. 1 Quote

There may be other differences too but, at a minimum, the Ovation 3's are 2007 or later, have and Ovation 3 paint job + decals, have a GFC 700 autopilot built into a GDU1042 MFD with a Go Around function and the 310hp STC. Most, if not all, also have the 102 gal usable fuel. In other words, I think it would be disingenuous to call it an Ovation 3 just because it has 310hp even though many self-serving or uninformed brokers do it. Quote

Since @Alan Maurer’s Ovation is a 2008 (serial number 500) and has all of those items, it qualifies. The only things missing are the decals and/or the “O” on the tail. 1 Quote
