Hi everyone,

Do you reccomend or know about any not crazy expensive switches for the J model? The part numers I'm looking for are:

930023-011

930023-007

930023-001

930023-005

930023-003

930023-015

Some previous owner just put there CB car switches instead of buying new ones. I'm trying to find a suitable replacement for them. Do you know who can provide something simmilar and approved?

Do you need the actual CB switch itself? Or just the caps. If just the caps, then I suggest getting new ones send to you. They can somewhat be easily replaced. I had a few that were broken. The switch itself is just fine.

@AH-1 Cobra Pilot, do you still have the switch covers available?

Not sure how to properly tag somebody lol. But he is the person whom had them available. and they look WAY better than my old faded ones. :) And the switches switch on and off way easier now too.

@AH-1 Cobra Pilot  Just type the "at" sign followed by the next couple of characters, and pick who you want from a pop-up list.  If there are too many, you may need more than a couple of characters after the "at" sign.  You can't type the name, and then add the "at" sign later.  Also, I think it fails if you try to cut and paste.  Cobra Pilot was at the top of the pop-up after typing "@ah".

Find the cobra pilot…

He has developed a pretty nice method of 3D printing….

Unfortunately… the OEM hasn’t wanted to sell the caps individually…

I haven’t tried to buy one in about a decade, soooo…. Things may have changed…

Best regards,

Yes, I have the covers available.  In fact, I have run out of a few and need to make some new ones, so if you want anything special, ask now.

I have been dealing with a family emergency for the past week+, so I am a little slow in responding.

Sorry to hear about your family emergency, hope things work out. How much do you charge for the new button caps? I would love to replace them all in my M20K.

I have a 78J and in need of some covers.  How do I know if they are Kilxon or ETA?  Also, do you sell all the caps or only specific ones?

Top one is a Klixon. Bottom one is an ETA.

Mooneyspace Grammar Police :)

Someone shared this with me years ago. A quick, easy way to know whether to use who or whom is to substitute the pronouns he/her (for who)  or him/her (for whom) and see which one works.

In the above example put him/her or he/she before "had them available". "He had them available", so who works.

An opposite example: Someone asks, "To whom are you referring?", You would answer, "I'm referring to him", not he.
