Hey guys,

A few belly panel screws are falling off, so I'll replace the nutplates before annual time.  Parts manual lists some variations to one thing: AN366-1032, AN366-1032B, AN366F-1032B

What's the F in AN366F, and what's the B in 1032B?  Skybolt has this equivalency manual that shows that AN366 has been replaced with MS21047 series, so for this thread size, L3 is the suffix to go (page 100): https://www.skybolt.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/Skybolt-AN-MS-NAS-Hardware-12-7-2017.pdf

However, I do not find different flavors to MS21047 to accommodate for these B and F.  What to do?

Thanks a lot.

Don't know the difference but Wick's aircraft carries the an366F

It's funny. When I couldn't find them on spruce and skygeek, I googled the pn. It did return wicks, but only showed -632. Not the 1032 I needed. Searching through wicks' search didn't return anything either. Today, I googled only an366f without the additional codes plus the word wicks, and it returned all of the options... Weird stuff.

Anyway, thanks for your help.

Ones with F are self locking elastic. Without, it's all metal.

Still no idea about the B.

F is probably the old Army navy code for fiber, which was probably replaced my nylon.  The B could be the manufacturer's code for coating.  I would just see that they match what is coming out.

I'm pretty sure the old AN designation was AN366-F1032B, where the F notes the nutplate is steel.  C would be stainless steel and D aluminum, I think.  Who the heck knows what B stands for there?
