30 was the asking price, might have sold for less. Either way on the face of it someone probably did ok

Assuming everything checks out, it is an appropriate asking price for a quick sale. But a couple of things I'd have noted... not to be a hater, but just for anyone looking for another one...

  • No Autopilot
  • No WAAS/moving map GPS
  • I would ask about the annual and other maintenance. It looks from the pictures that this might be an owner assisted or owner performed annual. That warrants some extra scrutiny looking for deferred maintenance items.
  • The last flight on FlightAware in 9/28/19.

The first two bullets are known, the second two might be nothing, or might be significant. But it warrants taking a close look.

That is probably an "As is, where is" price. Which adds an additional element of risk. But for $30K, it might be a risk worth taking.

I'm in the market again and looking all the time.  I made an offer on one a few weeks ago and it was rejected.  I saw the one you are referring to and considered it but knew it would be gone before I could even look at it...

Not even PC on that one.  Funny spending money on the Aspen and the JPI.

And the motor, and the prop, and what appears to be a clean frame, and an interior.

that airplane was worth that without the aspen and jpi.
