Swinging for the fences today, Ken :)

Not rich requires knowing where you are...

Knowing where you are is good, but even better when you share it with other people...

Or, are you asking about the name of the paint company on the paint can?

Best regards,

Ok, I'm confused.

In another thread you asked about used covers for 'your girl.'

Now, you are 'attempting to purchase an E that needs paint.'

So, if you don't own an E, why do you need a cover?  And, if you are going to buy an E that 'needs paint' why do you need a cover for a short outside stay; paint after that.

Paint is one of those things...

10amu will barely get paint on the plane... won’t qualify for good paint...

20amu should do a fair job...

Expect that a plane is 3X the size of any car... and cars don’t get their underside painted...

Many people have used Hawk...

Some have gone to Arkansas

One just had one done in Canada...

Many get theirs done at ArtCraft in CA.

There is a search function that works pretty good... MS has a search function...

There is a company that does search for a living called Google...

So... when you said you weren’t rich...

You may have meant that you prefer a plane that doesn’t need a new paint job...  :)

People won’t be able to help you out until you supply better information...

If you are new to flying... it is better to be really honest up front...

Best regards,

are you talking about Mena AR?

Yes I’ve written about that.  Yes, a shiny plane comes out.   But one sands the airplane and the other uses Alumigrip, with Napa thinner.  Gets overspray all over the plane because he has no paint booth, then buffs the overspray off and then dabs paint on the shiny bare rivets.  They’re not painting my lawn mower.

I would love to see the paint design you come up with for your lawn mower though.

Ever seen law mower races on ESP - we are talking 60-70mph drag racing on souped up lawn mowers - which is really silly - guys in flame suits and helmets on lawn tractors.

I know, I know, I've posted photos of the planes before.................and it's way out West................just about as far West before one runs into water [Pacific Ocean]............but, I still LOVE my paints jobs and they are holding up extremely well.............and since someone brought up paint shops again....................Tony at ArtCraft [SMX] is an artist!  :)

Love those planes. If you noticed I ripped a little off of your Ovation.

Excellent!  Yep, your plane always looks great!

I sure didn't create these paint schemes.................all done by Mooney folks.

Yeah, that there lawn mower in John Deere Green sure does have an effective elevator, don't it? Also, just past the 1:00 mark, it did a touch and go  and didn't crash!!
