I can do Jan 12th and anything northern AL would be my preference...+1 for CMD.  It’ll be great to finally meet everyone!

So far Cullman CMD is winning.  We have until the 28 of December.  Vote on your favorite place.  I would love to meet some of the Mooney community

I've been to Jack Edwards, but not the other two.   What are the relative merits of each?   I know JKA will likely be 5-10F warmer than Culman, with seafood at Lulu's.   Let's here some reasons (in the livestock or destination judging context).  :)

Apparently Eufaula is out as the restaurant is not open for lunch on Saturday. Merits for Cullman: 1) good, greasy burger and fries; 2) food is cheap; 3) gas is cheap; 4) skydiving ops for entertainment; 4) more central location for many.

The only location close enough to Memphis to consider a lunch run

Are we all confirmed for Jan 12? If so, I’ll put it on the calendar.

Hey Guys, sorry for not responding sooner, If possible can we move it to 1/26?  Our plane will be in for some avionics upgrades.  If not, I am sure we can find a plane to fly for lunch, unfortunately it won't be a Mooney unless @Brandontwalkercan carry Alan and I.  I will leave it up to the Forum

Any news on the date for this event?   The last question was whether or not we can move to 26 January.  I'm ok with that.  Should we set up a poll?

I'm also waiting on decision on location and date.  My schedule is currently open for either date, but only if KCMD.

26 January is iffy for me. If the plant is working that weekend, so am I . . . .

Any of the three locations are good, I'm pretty much between them all.

Hey Everyone!  It looks like Cullman won the poll.  Does January 26 work for everyone, maybe meet around 11:30 am Central?  Hope to see a good bit of Mooney's on the ramp.

make it the second saturday of Jan, and just head a little further south and join the Florida Mooney Lunch group at Leesburg, where Dave and Ruth Taisch also invites all to their home to see Ruth's fantastic garden train

I would love to but we are getting a JPI900 and a Stratus ESGi transponder installed.  We are taking the plane to the shop this weekend to get the work started.  Let us know the next time they have it.  I would love to fly down and see it!

Where and when is this happening?  We live in Lower Alabama (FL), so it’s close enough for us.

@thomas1142It will be January 26, at Cullman KCMD.  We plan on getting there around 11:30am CT.  Come and join us.  It is weather permitting.

You coming back?

Ha, NEVER!  I have 18 months left in the south and then it is northwest bound.  Hopefully we will meet for lunch on the 26th.
