Mcoyne34 Posted April 18, 2017 Report Posted April 18, 2017 (edited) http://www.planeboard.com/mooney/m20f/7nQSMtai I have nothing to do with this plane, it just sounded and looked nice. Price is even better Edited April 19, 2017 by Mcoyne34 1 Quote
Mcstealth Posted April 18, 2017 Report Posted April 18, 2017 Non-WAAS prop done at overhaul no ABSD steps taken yet. Gap seals seller states plane was owned by Lasar at one time Quote
jetdriven Posted April 18, 2017 Report Posted April 18, 2017 I bet he is a good mechanic. the pictures are pretty badly composed. the best mechanic takes the worst pics and the worst spelling in the logbook ! 1 Quote
EricJ Posted April 19, 2017 Report Posted April 19, 2017 I've never seen those rear windows before. Interesting. Quote
carusoam Posted April 19, 2017 Report Posted April 19, 2017 +1 on must be a good mechanic... How else would one justify windows for the dog seating area? Then not mention them at all...? Best regards, -a- Quote
Hank Posted April 19, 2017 Report Posted April 19, 2017 There's even a window in the baggage door! Quote
kpaul Posted April 19, 2017 Report Posted April 19, 2017 I paid about the same for my F, similar hours but with GTN650, Century 41 w/GPSS and 330ES, I have the cowl closer as well. I do like the windows, I would not want to go through that field approval, and fear it would make the cabin that much hotter in the summer. 1 Quote
gsxrpilot Posted April 19, 2017 Report Posted April 19, 2017 The good news is it's just a few Mooney minutes from the Oracle in Longview... The bad news is, the owner is an A&P/AI and therefore it's never been to Longview. Quote

In one picture you can also see that it has the Butler stinger tail. I would personally be looking for something other than this one, but to each his own. The fourth side window treatment was probably done by LASAR back in the 80s or 90s. I have seen something similar done by them years ago. Probably inspired by this sweet VW. Jim Jim, Did you use ugly and Mooney in the same sentence? I think we might have an infiltrator among us. 2 Quote

Mcstealth Posted April 19, 2017 Report Posted April 19, 2017 Supposedly, this plane was a Lasar test bed. Quote
Mcstealth Posted April 19, 2017 Report Posted April 19, 2017 It s also being raced this weekend here in Texas. We can check its speed and see what it does. Quote
