I flew it for the first time this morning.  Pretty amazing.  It was a total first for me as it was my first time in a Mooney and the first time flying it.

My airplane registration arrived today in the mail for my newly purchased F.  I didn't expect the FAA would deliver it on a golden chariot with trumpets heralding the arrival but they didn't even bother to put it in an envelope.   I just thought it was funny.  It took almost a month, so right on their advertised timeline and the even sent me back the bill of sale I used as proof of purchase.  Two days earlier and in an envelope. :-)

Yep, I get that grin.  Occasionally something makes for less than a pleasant moment like a wasp in the plane, but normally it results in a teeth showing grin.
