Bob_Belville Posted December 10, 2016 Report Posted December 10, 2016 MooneyGirl no doubt still has some for sale. List price may include a T Shirt. Quote
Raptor05121 Posted December 10, 2016 Report Posted December 10, 2016 I really want to watch this. But I am a super cheap CB. The most I'll spend for a movie is $1.25 on a RedBox. I don't go to the theatres to see a new movie unless I can get in with a $10 bill. I'm too young and broke to spend $30 on a movie I'll watch once! lol Quote

About 99% of what I see anymore is microwave corn . . . It's not the same. Quote

We keep an eye out for "gourmet" cor in fact,we bought some Amish Country yesterday at an old country store in Bostic NC and a couple of weeks ago at the nice Asheville Farmers market. But no self respecting pop corn eater eats MW corn! I suppose most grocery stores sell it and there's always Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Hoosier-Hill-Farm-Gourmet-Mushroom/dp/B00IJGLAME/ref=zg_bs_16322991_20?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=022FQR1TW2G65DHBA92R And Walmart sells Orville's pcorn: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Orville-Redenbacher-s-Original-Gourmet-Popping-Corn-45-oz/10312395?action=product_interest&action_type=title&beacon_version=1.0.2&bucket_id=irsbucketdefault&client_guid=827b51bd-5221-413a-83c0-cfa4ca8125c5&config_id=106&customer_id_enc&findingMethod=p13n&guid=827b51bd-5221-413a-83c0-cfa4ca8125c5&item_id=10312395&parent_anchor_item_id=10314955&parent_item_id=10314955&placement_id=irs-106-t1&reporter=recommendations&source=new_site&strategy=PWVAV&visitor_id=TkNSE9mSGNkVLx2ovXeOGI Quote
Hank Posted December 11, 2016 Report Posted December 11, 2016 (edited) Most of the real popcorn I've spotted in grocery stores and my local walmarts (none in the last 3-4 years) was old and very dusty. When that happens, the kernels lose moisture and don't pop well, because it's heating the moisture inside the kernel that makes it bust open (converting water to steam has a lot of pressure behind it). LANCECASPER Posted December 17, 2016 Report Posted December 17, 2016 I bought it from Kurt and watched it last night - very interesting video. I'll make the same offer Kurt did - $30 and I'll pay shipping for the next person who would like it. Quote

Competition is always good for the marketplace ! Quote
