A friend invited me this year, but I can't make it.  Probably better off not going anyway, I'd spend too much time and money in Carson City.  :P

not sure if I am going out this year, Bob says the race plane won't be ready again this year so we are thinking about taking that vacation time later in the winter and going some where warm :)

I've always wanted to go, but it's not in the plans right now.  Oshkosh again and Sun N Fun will be there first two prior to Reno.

This is the closest thing they had to a Mooney in WW2.  M51 I think...

Reno starts 9/14 through 9/18 see you there...

For perspective these two P51s are going north of 510mph in this shot.

Next August I have a convention there.  At least 2 stops from N.O. so maybe I will go commercial.  Depends on work and how busy I am I guess.  It is too far off for any real planning now.

It's been five years since I went to Reno, but this year is the year to get back in!  I'm flying up on Friday evening for Saturday and Sunday.  It makes a pretty busy couple of days but there's nothing like it anywhere.  We will be relegated to sitting in General seating, but come on, it's Reno - every seat is a great seat when they're going by that fast :)

saw the qaul times for sport class, looks like it will be a good year for reno. Pete has the vampire in the jet class, I expect he will put on a good show. haven't seen anything on the unlimited class so those of you who are there will have to keep us updated!
