tomn Posted June 1, 2014 Report Posted June 1, 2014 I bought a new Halo not too long ago and never used it in flight - only tried it on the ground to check the fit etc. I have new spare ear foams etc. My new plane has only Bose powered plugs so I can't use it unless I get things rewired and I'm unlikely to do that. Let me know if you are interested. Tom tnalle@nalleautomation.com Quote
bnicolette Posted June 1, 2014 Report Posted June 1, 2014 Tom, Lemo (BO$E) plugs are available for the Halo. Call me to get them changed out, or get your money back if they are new. Phil First class!! Quote
carusoam Posted June 2, 2014 Report Posted June 2, 2014 I used my Halos in a V-tail Bonanza this weekend. Great stereo sound from Bruce Springsteen! (NJ Mooney fly-in) They have a stereo switch, but need a way to add some thumping bass! The only music I get in my plane comes from the AM bleed on the ADF. Phil has an impressive product and a more impressive customer service program. I bought mine to fly in IMC and talk to ATC. They are flawless at that. Especially, if you are new to IFR flight or have difficulty with distractions (don't hear your call sign until it's the second time?) I still have the sounds of Clarence Clemens in my head, a day later. Best regards, -a- Briefly: Works in both Mooneys and B machines. In IMC. Clarence will stay in your head for a full day! Quote
tomn Posted June 2, 2014 Author Report Posted June 2, 2014 Phil, thanks for the information - did not know you had them available. I am going to keep them and order the plugs. To those who responded interested in them, sorry for the confusion. Tom Quote
