Just bumping the thread in case new comers haven't seent it:





Directions for adding yourself to the Member Map: (Note: must be registered with google)


 



  1. www.mooneymap.com
  2. in the main search bar type the ICAO code for your airport. e.g. (KLBE)  Make sure your airport comes up and that it is correct.
  3. click on the pin marker over your airport
  4. a box will come up with that locations information.  Click "save to map".
  5. It will prompt you which map you want to save it to.  Make sure you select "Randy B", then click "save"
  6. Once you save it a little box will appear at the top of the screen prompting you to "view map".  click "view map"
  7. Find your airport marker again and click it.
  8. Make sure it's your airport then click the red "EDIT" button on the left side of the screen.  Click it
  9. You will now be able to write whatever you want to in the description box.  When you are done, click "save" on the left side of the screen.

"We could not understand the location KHTW." Didn't matter, in all caps or none. So I used "Lawrence County Airpark" and picked the one in Ohio. Clicked on the red pin, did not have the option to "Save to map."

 

Guess I really do live at the end of the world; until now, I just thought I could see it . . .

 

The nearby Class D [KHTS] comes up, but that's not where I'm based. Depart there on 30, make a right turn when able and enter downwind for 26 across the river.
