Just wondering what people think of Mooney Flyer.

Not too much feedback from readers with letters to the editor.

I enjoy the flyer unfortunately they need more people to write articles, Richard our own, writes nice articles on a monthly basis. For those not familiar to the flyer, the Mooney flyer.com you can check out the archives for more content plus many events, instructors etc are listed.,It’s a nice read

The internet has taken the place of a number of 'zines. I wonder if we should make a point of engaging more in that forum, letters etc. I've read some great content here that could take the form of articles there...

I'm sure Phil and Jim would be happy to have additional articles if people want to contribute. They have lost some regular writers over the years, most recently Ron Blum who wrote excellent articles. I have been chronicling my flights on my website since my first flight back in 2016.  I began sending articles to The Mooney Flyer back in December 2020 when Phil had posted here that they were looking for additional content. I offered to send something in to see if they wanted to publish it and they haven't kicked me to the curb yet. 

My advice would be if any of you are interested in contributing please reach out to Phil @mooneyflyer and let him know. He's a great guy and loves Mooney's as much as anyone I know.

YES, feel free to write and submit articles.

I did a couple, and next thing I knew, I was listed on the masthead as a Contributor.

They do not have to be technical things.  They can be about a nice trip your took.  Or even things of aviation interest that are not Mooney specific.
