It has a very high number of drowning deaths. Some say because it is cursed. I just remember how many incompetent boaters there were when I grew up sailing on it. Most of the drownings are boating related.

I did another training flight yesterday and this was the approach into Bern. It's not often that you can see the Alps so clearly. The approach is right over the city of Bern and is a 4 degree glide slope.
