1969 M20C AFM

I'm trying to find a 1969 M20C AFM... my POH appears to be the owner's manual, operating limitations and weight and balance.

Mooney has some AFM pages posted on their website http://www.mooney.com/service-support/afm-supplements-2.html

The M20C AFM is posted http://www.mooney.com/images/pdfs/mark20c_afm.pdf but appears to be for earlier year models.  For example, the Vne is 200mph versus 189 in that document, Vno is 175 versus 150 in that document... That document refers to non-electrical flaps and movable cowl-flaps.

Does anyone have or know where I can find a 1969 Mooney M20C AFM.

Consider getting the 1976 POH.  It is appropriate for most M20Cs.  It will list your SN on the first ref page.

I bought mine from the factory years ago.  Start there to support your factory, then try the manual repro people...

My Owner's manual says Manual Number 69-20C-OM-B

On the Mooney website, it says it should be part number 1189.  I can't find anywhere in the manual that says part number 1189.  Does this mean I need to go out and buy a new Owners Manual?  I think so, just checking to make sure I'm not missing something here.

On the thumb drive from Mooney, manual number 1189 also has the number of 69-20C-OM-B.  I'm pretty sure you've got the right manual.

Legally you need the "owners manual" for your plane since they did not have POHs back in the day....

For wealth of data that applies to your plane, consider getting the most updated POH available for your plane.

I purchased both for my 1965 M20C.  The owners manual is a hoot.

My 70 model came with an Owner's Manual [actually, two of them]. I later acquired a Parts Manual and a Service Manual. Is there an Aircraft Flight Manual with the updated C numbers? 200 Vne; 125/120 Vfe/Vge; etc.

It's great fun to read, and apparently the only emergencies that can happen are alternator failure [two long paragraphs], gear failure [a short checklist], PC failure [two short paragraphs] and oh yeah, engine fire ["In case of engine fire, turn cabin heater off." Nothing else to do but shut off the heater.] Quite the mindset, back in the day.
