MAPA Homecoming roll call

Figured I would start this off.  Either me, my wife, our 201, or any combination of us will be there.   We are also staying at the Y-O Ranch.

Mitch and I will be there, most likely in my E model.  And we too, are staying at he Y-O.  This could be dangerous, all these fun people in one place!

Don't know yet.  Am in process of changing airplanes.  If all goes as planned, will be transitioning from 201 to 231 (this would be my 3rd Mooney).  I don't know what my status will be then.  But I would like to be there for at least part of the Homecoming.

First timer is tentative. I will be making a trip home (Austin) the weekend after so I am working on leaving a weekend earlier and making the event.

Guess I need to solidify plans if I am going to get a room near Kerrville.

Dad and I will be there. He is 88 and really enjoyed the events at Colorado Springs last year. We will also stay at the Y-O ranch.

Weather permitting, I'll be there Friday and Saturday leaving Sunday. All by myself, so I'd love to hook up with people. Should be fun! It will be my longest trip with me piloting to date.

Anybody interested in splitting a rental car 2 or 3 ways? I'd like to get around a little but justifying a car to go to the airport and mess about a bit is hard.

I wish it was a different time of year other than harvest time.  It would be great to go, I'm sure it will be one to remember.  Hope for lots of pictures and videos to be posted.

restaurants,  hill country, Fredricksburg is cool.  I am not big on waiting for a van to pick me up and take me to the hotel at 9 and 5.

I added my name to the signature. I am also going to print out a screenshot of the stuff left of these words with my avatar, screen name, and location and put that on my nametag.  Hope others do the same so I dont look like a dork.

N335BB will be at MAPA with both Bennet Bibel and Knute Reams aboard.  I attended MAPA homecomings all through the 1980s, and some in the 1990s, but then I sold my Mooney, and owned and flew a number of other aircraft types until last year, when I purchased my 1983 M20J. It is good that Knute is not flying out himself in his "older" Mooney, as he manages to beat my J every time.
