I watch a fair number of YouTube videos and as a pure Mooniac, gooble up the Mooney videos. Thought it would be nice if those of you who post videos could share a link to your channel and/or one of your video links. I don't post a lot of YouTube videos but once I call myself RETIRED, I'll have the time to put more up. Would love to see other's handiwork.

This one is a test of my GoPro setup (be aware, this is a really boring approach video with George doing most of the work). For those of you using GoPros, do the batteries get eaten up fast? Mine sure do.

Have you tried your GDL-39 on the back seat? Mine works really well there - even on the floor after unusual attitude recovery practice! None of the others seem to have as good of reception than the Garmin in my experience.

Hi there! Yes, GoPro batteries run out out really fast. I get about 90 min out of them. If it is cold even less. Garmin VIRBS (first generation) hace the best battery life about 3 hours. They don’t make them any longer. It seems that they make this cameras for extreme sports with short attention span, not for long cross countries.

My channel is

I am looking forward to watching your videos!!!

Cheers

Man,

That GoPro in the ceiling really picks up a lot of detail on the screens and out the window at the same time...

Unfortunately, not enough to zoom in on for better legibility....

Focus on the phone... can you see the phone displayed on the phone?

:)

That is way cool!

Thanks for sharing so much...

Best regards,

Is it okay if the airplane is not a Mooney?

I have a small channel. Some are flights, mostly with music rather than ATC. Some are Mooneys (it turns out most of the in-flight ones); others are not. Some are small how-tos. Most of those were done and posted quickly  in answer to a question (like how to do an ad hoc hold in a GTN) so they are hardly "production" quality. My personal favorite is a mountain flight we did in British Columbia (sorry, it was a rental 172).

The channel is https://www.youtube.com/midlifeflyer. The British Columbia video is this one.

It was there because I was having issues with the Lynx periodically dropping offline. I’ll try it the next time I bring it along. The Lynx issue has been resolved.
