A push back clearance generally involves a walker connected by headsets to the flight deck whose job it is to observe the all clear behind until the end of the push back.  I assume this same procedure is used throughout the world.

I don't know what bothers me more, the pilot kissing the ground (or praying to allah, cant quite tell) over just a gear collapse or them calling it a "flight teacher" and "tarmac"

I also thought watching a so called professional ground kissing was embarrassing and way over the top.
