I'd start with my own AIRPORT.  4000-5000 foot strip, parallel taxiway.  Local weather reporting station.  Fuel pump so I can buy in bulk, cheap.  Nice climate controlled hangar with shiny white floors, a planning lounge, etc.

THEN I'd go airplane shopping.

Phase three would include a plumbed bunkhouse for fly ins, etc.

Yeah, I've never though about this before...  ;)

Dude, with $400+ Million, you could do it all in one big phase. Start construction on everything all at once, and get out plane shopping. Hell, have Mooney build you one to order, it'll be finished when the hangar is ready.

I would be quite content with simply paying off all my debt, mortgage, car, college... etc. Ironically the Mooney is one of the few things I own outright. Afterwards I might buy a P-51 and a full time mechanic for it.

You totally could.  But I like to plan/design things and pay close attention to detail.  Doing it all at once would also limit the ability to savor the experience.  It's not like I'd be worried about time- if I won the Powerball I wouldn't be working.

Not to mention, no need to just speed a chunk and dig it all out of your own pockets.  Take that money, invest it, then make big moves with gains and not principal.  That's how you get rich and STAY rich.

Crap, I almost forgot the 20 pax hottub...

Why 20 pax hot tub?  You only need space for a few close friends with benefits.:o

King Air 350 with the new Blackhawk conversion. 340knots at FL280. One of the true, fuel up and if it fits in the cabin, it will depart aircraft (legally), and now with the Blackhawks, I'm fairly positive if need be, it will pretty much clear any OP on one engine if need be without much fuss, even at gross, even departing Aspen. Load it 2000b below gross and out climb an Acclaim on one.

Most lottery winners wind up broke or dead in short order.  I've read that the best way to ensure your safe survival after winning the lottery is to move to somewhere no one knows you or how you got your money.

If I really want to gamble I'll go to a casino.  Much better odds.

Dare to dream, sir.  You've got to have room for your entourage,  too...  ;)

If you still have money left over after fulfilling your airplane dreams, move into the world of luxury yachts.  I assure you, an $800 million jackpot would not be enough to make a good showing to all your new-found "friends".

Well I didn't win but dint have a ticket either.

I personally would not buy anything.  The companies and non-profits I set up would buy own and maintain everything and I would then just fly them to wherever my business took me and that would be far and wide.  So there would be a nice variety and selection of toys to play with.:D

Darn - I had to buy a ticket to win?!! :(  No wonder I didn't win.

You must be having some of Marauder's girls over if you need a hot tube that large.
