Jack Burson Posted April 17, 2017 Report Posted April 17, 2017 (edited) With great reluctance, I'm coming to the realization that Mooney ownership and retirement don't mix as well as I'd hoped. I appreciate this forum & offline comments for ideas regarding my plane. Thanks, http://jdbcpa.com/n4035h/ Edited June 23, 2017 by Jack Burson Update Quote
Roger O Posted April 17, 2017 Report Posted April 17, 2017 Beautiful plane Jack! Good luck with the sale. Quote
rbridges Posted April 18, 2017 Report Posted April 18, 2017 I don't know how the price compares, but it's a good looking plane. I really like the silver/black/red exterior. Very tasteful. Quote
dlthig Posted April 18, 2017 Report Posted April 18, 2017 Running a giant WAG on vREF, your price is in the ballpark. It's a good looking airplane. Quote
Jack Burson Posted April 18, 2017 Author Report Posted April 18, 2017 Awesome M20K, when were the tanks last resealed? 12/2/02 - In connection with new paint. Quote
kevinw Posted April 18, 2017 Report Posted April 18, 2017 The very low engine time and MT prop should really help the sale. Great looking plane. What is the useful load? Quote

dlthig Posted April 18, 2017 Report Posted April 18, 2017 I would have expected a higher useful load. Quote
gsxrpilot Posted April 18, 2017 Report Posted April 18, 2017 K's are not known for their UL. All of the upgrades happening to mine right now are with UL in mind. Quote

gsxrpilot Posted April 18, 2017 Report Posted April 18, 2017 My 252 was in a similar situation. The previous owner (19 years) had just added and added. So when I bought it, it seemed like there was enough stuff in the panel for three airplanes. I started selling off parts within hours of getting it home. It's now in the shop for a final avionics cleanup and refresh. I might get 50 lbs of UL out of the job. 2 Quote
