Cleaning belly and wheel wells

I still use this stuff.    Smear it on, everything wipes off with it.   I do the belly first, then wash the entire airplane in water at the wash rack so it gets any remaining residue off.   Once a year before the annual inspection, whether it needs it or not.

I recently tried a product called Exhaust & Soot remover by a company called corrosion technologies. Bought at Spruce. Comes in a gallon jug.  Works very well to clean the belly, I think slightly better than Carbon X which I have used for years.

I clean mine with AeroCosmetics Wash n Wax Red. Works great! At annual, leaning against the wall, it takes about 5 minutes (left side and right side separately, divided by the bend in the middle).

It leaves a smooth, slick finish.

I clean the rest of the plane with Wash n Wax Blue.

I have one. Nothing has hurt it yet.

FWIW, I would be more concerned with what kind of paint is on it than the belly itself.
