The sun can trash an interior quickly, but not as bad as dry, arid Arizona. Get a hanger, get a cover, corrosion proof the plane every other year or so, fly every week. 1 Quote

To those of you thinking of embarking on a window replacement, I would strongly urge you to either do it in a climate controlled facility (that means insulated and comfortable enough to work in a T-shirt) or defer until warm weather.Ā Warm windows are far less susceptibleĀ to cracks during installation. Yhanks! Yes indeed, I kept mine in the shipping box and kept my ceramic heater going which kept the acrylic warm through the nights. When we were working in my (normally) unheated hanger we ran a kerosene heater.Ā This time of year we have cold nights warming up during the day. Pics from today's flight to Smyrna TN. Like the vent in the door? 2 Quote

carusoam Posted December 4, 2015 Report Posted December 4, 2015 How does Nancy like being able to openĀ her own window? Anything that makes the finance administrator happy has got to be a good idea. Best regards, -a- 1 Quote
DonMuncy Posted December 5, 2015 Report Posted December 5, 2015 You can tell it is not a K model. My 231 has a double pane window on the copilot side. Quote
