Winter has trapped my airplane in it's hanger......the ground has heaved, in combination with the weight of snow and ice on the roof, causing the hanger doors to bind. hoping it warm up enough next week to get the plane move to another hanger.

I brought my airplane to annual just over a week ago.  Winter happens every year, and so does my annual!  I like to line them up.  Right now I am hoping fabulous flying weather doesn't break out before I get my airplane back late next week.

Good luck! We're supposed to get another 5 to 9 inches tonight!

Even with snow and ice in font of the hangar and at the risk of landing flat on my face trying to pull the plane out, I managed to log 2 hours this past weekend. Its supposed to be nice this weekend so i'm looking forward to some more flight time.

#1 Radio (KX-165) went dead...totally.  Just got it back...apparently the on/off switch fried.  Thankfully only .2 AMU to fix...

I think you have my cell. Give me a call when you are in the area. I saw Jack was down in the warm climates. Lucky dog! :)

I just wish he would have flown Matilda down......he is still waiting on he medical waiver to get stamped so he needs a qualified pilot to ride along....I could handle a week in the caribbean right now.

He couldn't have been in too bad of shape. Saw on his FaceBook page he was scuba diving for the first time!

Yes, we have had snow, and we still got snow...this is my house today when I got the mail. That is a standard height mailbox.

You acrobatic pilots never stop!

So does experience allow for you to set longer on the bench before rust sets in?  I personally, feel if I don't fly every other week, I got rust to deal with.  What's everyone's threshold?

Weather has been very cold up here in Canada ( near Montreal ), but amazingly I have been able to rack up 14.4 hours on the Rocket since January 1st. 3 tripps, NY, Boston and Pittsburgh and I have been really lucky that my flights have been in preety good weather for the most part, cold but clear... The only exception was my landing monday on a 18g28 cross wind...

Working hard on my IFR written for march so that I can be IR for next winter...

King Schools IFR written is the best. I have tried two others.
