I can send you the other one, a photo copy of both, pictures, etc. The Previous Owner found them not long before I moved. Don't think there's any adhesive, I was thinking about using rubber cement. That's the motivation to use leather. no more so than the slick OEM plastic coating of the yokes. On the pilot side, Left hand side of the yoke, I used a white tennis raquet gripping tape to also contain the wires necessary for the STEC autopilot, PTT, and electric trim that Tim Mathison mounted on a small panel that attached to the end of the yoke. Looks great, easy to keep clean and very easy to use the push button controls. Sorry I don't have a pic of that. Quote

Instead of the 696 I use a I-pad as a secondary screen since getting the GDL88 and Flightstream. I'll post more pics when I get my Nav 2 radio back in the stack. I would still like to have a new panel custom water- jet cut from sheet-metal instead of the current plastic. Over the years the changes in the stack configuration has kind of "butchered" up the OEM panel. Hopefully next year I can take it to Aero Comfort and have them redo all the old and faded plastic panels and trim in fabric or whatever Hector called it. No more broken or fragile plastic. As we all know It's expensive and takes time to make 40 yrs old look new..lol Quote

She does a lot of Mooney stickers. I believe they have the same yoke stickers. Wick's are much less $ than the girl on EBay and very similar. Quote

M20F Posted March 5, 2015 Report Posted March 5, 2015 You've got to post pictures! The yoke clock & PC button are (mostly) why mine are still powder coated. I would add Hector did mine and no issues with the clock and he built me new PTT/Autopilot tab thing on the yoke that is super sweet. Mine is in the process of getting some other work done so no pictures but got to say best $700 I ever spent, couldn't be happier and they feel as great as they look. Quote
Amelia Posted March 6, 2015 Report Posted March 6, 2015 How I wish I had let Hector talk me into the leather yoke when he did his masterful magic on the interior. But by then I was feeling really broke, and went for powder coating instead. Looked great... for a couple of years. Now AeroComfort's beautifully tailored interior still looks lovely, and the powder coating already has chunks missing. Honest, I don't manhandle it, it just didn't last well. One of these days, I'm going to spring for more of Hector's beautiful leather work. Quote

Once the OAT passes 100F the OEM yokes are like holding on to butter. -Robert Quote
