Jim,

We are not threatening legal action to any of the customer base. I was told to get this press release out and that is what I did. No one said it was discussed here. You have read the release now move on.

I didn't take this as offensive and don't think Stacy meant anything to "us" by posting it at all of the many internet outlets, including each forum here.  Sounds like something fishy is going on with HInes (I had never heard of them until today) and I don't blame Mooney for trying to protect the company and brand.  It is simply a press release that is getting more exposure than one solely published on the Mooney website.  No big deal IMO.

See his signature line. He is our direct line to the factory in Kerrville. You know, the one that is not being sold to the Hines dreamers.

The challenge of Tapatalk. You don't see everything. Thanks Hank!

Well, he is actually not a PR person as he is a technical specialist for Mooney.  Perhaps he (and the few remaining there) have to do PR as I bet they don't have any left!  I think this just turned into a small internet dust-up for no good reason and without any bad intent...

Dear Mooney Aviation Company: If you have enough money to sue someone would you happen to have enough working capital to develop an STC for the TD-300 turbo diesel replacement for my M20K 231? I’m sure the J owners would be interested as well. I would opine this endeavor would net a better return on investment considering the cost of litigation these days. Thank you
