Can someone who uses FlyQ's EFB tell me how to open the Airport Facilities Directory? I know it is in there, but for the life of me, I cannot figure out how to get into it. When I update the data, I have the button pushed that says the AFD should be updated as well.

I was curious, so I just pulled down their manual.  I can find no reference to chart supplement, supplement, afd, a/fd, clearance, delivery or anything else that would be in the AFD.  The Airport section seemed get the most hits, but even that didn't seem to have everything.  At least from what I can tell with the manual.

Are you sure they have it?

The way I get to AFD is to type the Airport identifier in search field and select it to get a "general" info on the airport. There's 7 tabs on top to select and one is AF/D.

I tried following your procedure. I type in my airport, and hit select, but I don't find a tab for AFD. Any idea what I'm doing wrong.

The only thing I know is that when I update my data, one of the options they list is AFD.

Don, using FlyQ+ on my iPhone, I can click on the map near the airport, which calls up a screen showing the airspace, the airport, and a nearby LOM. I then click on my airport's name (not on the Direct, +FP, charts, or map icons underneath it), and that takes me to a screen for the airport. That screen allows me to choose Gen, Wx, Proc, A/FD, Notm, Svc, or Near. If I choose A/FD, it shows me an image of the appropriate pages in the A/FD for the airport.

If you're trying to get to another section of the A/FD, though, I haven't figured that one out yet.

Thanks guys. I have now found that if I am on the map, I can double tap on the airport. Then when the airport info comes up, I can tap on "common". Then the choices come up which include AFD.

I appreciate the responses.
