I am thinking about selling the 2009 mooney acclaim that I have. 600hrs total time no damage, G1000.  There is not much out there for sale to compare it to. Does anyone have an idea on what price an acclaim should go for with the current market we have?

Probably will have to look at comparables across other brands for your target price. Beech, Cirrus. Or that’s what I would be looking at.

First questions will be do you have WAAS and ADSB?

I would ask a professional (Jimmy Garrison).

Jimmy Garrison is a straight up guy and knows his business. Call him.

Didn't this belong to  @Schllc for a short period of time? But I think he's owned 10% of all Acclaims ever built. . lol :)

The oddity of selling such a fine machine….

There are no comps available… no Kelly Blue Book… one or two sold recently…

If you try to market it yourself…. People don’t know you exist…

Then there is the usual… let’s send an offer… maybe he will take it.

There is one well known resource for selling high end Mooneys…
It is one Part DMax, and another part JimmyG…. Together they are GMax…

Around here… find @jgarrison….

On the interwebs find https://www.gmaxamericanaircraft.com

If you decide to try and sell it yourself…  you already upgraded your membership to have access to the for sale section…

Plan on posting pics, descriptions, and copies of the logs….

You are probably more interested in the handful of potential buyers….

Than showing lots of details hoping somebody is ready to step up to an Acclaim….

There has never been a better time to be selling an Acclaim…

The factory isn’t making any new ones this year.

Post a few pics to get started… inside and outside…

then start the stopwatch…

Well priced Mooneys have been selling in about a month’s time…

completing a PPI is a scheduling challenge…

:)

PP thoughts only, not a plane sales guy…

Best regards,

Also has monroy tanks, active traffic, the 310hp stc, and the breather tube SB to eliminate the 50 hour inspections was done as well.
It was a nice plane!

Nothing against GMax, Jimmy is a solid guy, but Thunderbird, owned by Richard Similie, is probably a better resource for late model mooney’s. He was with Premier for a long time, and probably sold more than half the fleet when they sold new.
He is really dialed in with those buyers. It’s a different demographic.

Guilty as charged!

I can’t help myself.  I would keep every one if I could!

This aircraft is perfect candidate for a MGW increase the factory was contemplating.

What is the MGW increase being contemplated?
