Yes, if it was used in combat. I think it was used in Bolivia. We use a j3 cup that was used by the US Army so it's officially a warbird. Www.tailwheel-endorsement.com

It doesn't have to have been flown in combat, just flown as a military aircraft.  T-34 is considered a war bird and not flown in combat.  Same for several other T- aircraft.

I could paint my CAP-10 in French, Moroccan or Mexican air force colors and call it a warbird. :D

If you're near Houston, these folks did a good job for me many years ago: https://www.harveyrihn.com/  Both basic tailwheel and aerobatic/upset training. Can tailor to your goals. Co-founded by an aerobatic competitor. 

There is a guy at Cody WY that has an AT-6 who was doing upset training for TBM guys in Billings recently. Cody is an easy place to get in/out of and you could make a vacation out of it.
