Best fuel stop airport in the Norfolk area?

May take the mooney to NJ tomorrow. What is the best overall airport in the Norfolk area for Mx availability if needed and fuel prices?

Yeah I have that info. Just looking for some personal knowledge of the area. I will be in and out in 30min.

KJGG is a quick, easy stop. Haven't been recently, check prices posted above. The on-field restaurant is good, too! Seafood. Fun approach over the water and through the swamp.

When I used to travel from FL to CT, I always used SFQ, they had great fuel prices and a restaurant. It was the last good stop before getting to the high prices in New England.

For fuel, I like KMFV.  I doubt there is any maintenance on field.   But I do love that $3.75/gallon 100LL.

SFQ does have a nice maintenance shop and is familiar with Mooneys - also the restaurant - but make sure it's open!

JGG - It has a restaurant too (make sure it's open)

Another one where I know the restaurant is open and has inexpensive fuel is EZF - Shannon - a little north of there but still South of DC.

I like the idea of an on field restaurant while making a stop.

PVG is a good field as well and on the chart - no restaurant on site.

Thank you....I ended up planning to go to PVG....but...about an hour out it was below minimus as were all the other airports....

I diverted to Elizabeth City and it was a quick in and out....

I will try SFQ next time.....
