Stephen Posted December 7, 2019 Report Posted December 7, 2019 Hi MS. Happy Saturday morning for those of you in the US and afternoon/etc for those abroad. I just took a look at the sat precipitation map and it looks like this: I'm thinking we get out there and show our Mooneys some love... Pictures or it never happened. 1
DonMuncy Posted December 7, 2019 Report Posted December 7, 2019 It looks good for most of us. I came from Dallas yesterday to Centennial (Denver). I only got about 1/2 hour of IMC. I'm here visiting my son in Castle Rock, to help him replace a head gasket on his wife's Prius. I'm having to adapt to trying to get enough oxygen at 6700 feet. 2
MooneyMitch Posted December 7, 2019 Report Posted December 7, 2019 It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood! December 07, 1941. Thank you Veterans! 3
Nick Pilotte Posted December 7, 2019 Report Posted December 7, 2019 Wasn’t in a Mooney today but I just got back from practicing landings for a couple hours. It really was nice out today. Little overcast over Chicago now but not bad. Lots of activity at KDPA today. 2
INA201 Posted December 7, 2019 Report Posted December 7, 2019 Best I can do today. These were take at 4:51pm on Tuesday near Lake Greenwood SC. 2
MIm20c Posted December 7, 2019 Report Posted December 7, 2019 Just out doing some Christmas shopping in the Mooney today. 3

Were having quite the winter storm out west wind blowing hard enough to shake the house. The western storm door has opened which is great news for California.
eman1200 Posted December 7, 2019 Report Posted December 7, 2019 I went out for lunch then buzzed some boats on the lake (safely and legally of course) 2

cferr59 Posted December 7, 2019 Report Posted December 7, 2019 Unfortunately, mine is a little taken apart because I am putting in a Rieff Preheater. Finished the epoxy today and waiting for it to cure. A&P will come by Monday to inspect. 1

Stephen Posted December 7, 2019 Author Report Posted December 7, 2019 Heading to the airport now... 1 1

I see the pre heater sitting there by the nose wheel, can't for the life of me figure out where it will fit under the cowling
steingar Posted December 7, 2019 Report Posted December 7, 2019 3.5 in the Mooney today. First big Mooney trip. Fetched Mrs. Steingar back from Alma Mi. Thank goodness for the Mooney. Without it I’d still be driving. 1

TGreen Posted December 7, 2019 Report Posted December 7, 2019 Greetings from Mammoth Mountain where gusts are over 60mph. What is usually a 1:45 flight was a 7:30 drive! The Mooney has spoiled me. 3

Rieff says 2-4 hours to install. Maybe if you've done it before, but I'm going on 6+ now. But, I'm learning a lot in the process and fixing a few other minor things. Very fortunate to have an A&P that is willing to give me advice and inspect the install. 1

That's too bad. Does anyone know what happened to him? Maybe @RogueOne ? 1
ArtVandelay Posted December 8, 2019 Report Posted December 8, 2019 Took advantage of some tail winds...no outside pictures as most of the trip was flying over a cloud layer. Tom 2
