DXB Posted November 29, 2017 Report Posted November 29, 2017 I realize there are some pretty good pilots here, but I suspect not many could hang with these two guys 2 Quote
MooneyBob Posted November 29, 2017 Report Posted November 29, 2017 Ok. I am going to try it tomorrow. I need volunteer base jumper. Anybody? It will be a little bit harder since the baggage door is a little smaller. 1 Quote
1964-M20E Posted November 29, 2017 Report Posted November 29, 2017 cool Did you catch the misses at the very beginning of the clip? 1 Quote

aviatoreb Posted November 30, 2017 Report Posted November 30, 2017 For when base jumping isn't dangerous enough and you gotta think of a way to raise the stakes. 1 Quote

Wonder how hard it was to recover after whacking ribs on the door frame and falling outside? What surprised me was the severe down angle of the plane. Just watching wingsuit videos doesn't give a good feeling for the descent rate, but looking at full flaps and sharp down nose . . . . 1 Quote

Jerry 5TJ Posted November 30, 2017 Report Posted November 30, 2017 Perhaps some reverse thrust was required. Quote

Somewhere is the gray area between flight and free fall... Quote

I just now read it is 2.5:1. Beats out the flying squirrel - 1.98:1 https://academic.oup.com/jmammal/article/82/4/1026/2372735 Then there are flying snakes. I have a friend who studies those. Get back to me red bull when you throw a snake off a mountain and catch it in your pilatus. Quote
