When you browse ads for other planes / types / examples of your model and ...

It feels like you’re somehow cheating on your airplane?  

(Maybe @KLRDMD feels differently...)

Yes - I do.

But even if you get a CJ3+ you’ll still be looking at a Global Express, Falcon, Gulfstream, or the other way at a Husky with Tubdra tires.

It is natural to go “window shopping.”

If you ever have time to burn, watch this video interview of a CJ owner. It is amazing how much money he saved by modifying his original CJ in lieu of buying a brand new one. I just started watching some of the authors videos and he does a great job with the interview structure. There is a good video on the Cessna 310 cost and life of ownership as well.
