Sorry for the slow response, I met your Dad, Dick, when I bought the airplane from him and the family in Concord, CA. I will send you a PM...but here is a pic of the day we brought it home...I have been enjoying it much these last 6 years. Here is a picture the day my friend and I picked it up (thats me in the middle).

These are also called the fuel necks...

Back in the day... they were made of soft steal, known to rust...  new parts are available made out of stainless... contact your MSC for perfect expensive parts...

 

Used parts can be found from these known quality suppliers... (the people are high quality, the parts are used...)

Unfortunately, one of the software “upgrades” for MooneySpace limited everyone's data allowance for uploaded pictures, so we lost a TON of knowledge from the site ( @mooniac58 can explain better).

But hopefully @N6758N can repost some of them.  I’d like to see them again also.
