Pre Purchase in the North West

Hello all. I am hoping soon to join the elite band of Mooney owners. I have sourced an aircraft in Aurora, OR. Does anyone have a suggestion for a suitably qualified mechanic in the area who can complete a Pre Purchase?

Definitely these guys: http://www.advancedaircraftpdx.com.  They are honest guys and do good work, I had them do my tank reseal and no back spring a few years ago and they were great.

Don't fall in love with your bird until after the pre buy.

I concur.  They are at TTD (Troutdale) just east of Portland.  They are also the local Mooney Service Center.

I just had a ppi don't at KTTD where advanced is but since the plane had its last two annuals there I asked them for a reference. They told me Darrel Dash of Dash aviation. He was great and found multiple things Advanced had missed over the last two years including metal in the filter after only three hours since annual and leaking fuel tanks, the lower cowl had been sagging and was rubbing a large gash in it from the induction system. He was great to work with and very up front about the plane and the condition. Sadly the owner and I could not reach a new selling point.

I've worked with both Dash and Advanced Aircraft, they both seem to be solid outfits--however, I've not used either for a prepurchase.
