Midwest avionics shops

Hi all,

Looking for some Midwest avionics shop recommendations. Looking to upgrade my GNS430, transponder and audio panel in my J. The big shops around southern Mi have big overhead and in the past I haven't had a flawless delivery yet from them.

I've had the best luck with Premier Avionics in Fort Wayne, IN.  Brain and the rest of the crew are great to work with.  They installed the 750 / 650 combo 1.5 years ago and a 330 ES last fall.  I've had work done at 4 other shops in and around MI and would go back to Premier first.

Spencer Avionics in Spencer, IA (SPW) has done all my work. First class shop. The owners name is Quent.

I have had good service from Muncie Aviation, in Muncie, IN http://www.muncieaviation.com/#!avionics/cfvg

They have rebuilt my panel and installed all of the radios including an FS210, and the autopilot.  See below:

We just got ours back from Lapeer Aviation and they didn't rape us over labor Like another quote from a shop just to the west did.
