Danb Posted December 12, 2015 Report Posted December 12, 2015 Anthony. nice job, couldn't have asked for a better spring day, the $3.95 per gal for avgas was delicious, I ate 70 gallons great savings over our $6.25 per gal.at Kilg. 1 Quote

bradp Posted December 12, 2015 Report Posted December 12, 2015 What a great flying day. It was really nice to meet you all and put some faces with the screen names. Hope everyone had a safe flight home. Looks like Eric had the longest leg at 250nm. Here's his cool prop in action. Thank you again to Anthony and Stinkypants for organizing the event. We should do this on another 70 deg winter day sometime soon. Take care Brad IMG_0265.MOV Re below (the 201kts was in the descent of course) 3 Quote
Robert C. Posted December 12, 2015 Report Posted December 12, 2015 Thank you Anthony and Mike, Great to see everyone and to begin putting faces to names and call signs Not a bad looking flight line either Robert 1 Quote
Danb Posted December 12, 2015 Report Posted December 12, 2015 Eric I can hold 130, but since the runway wasn't to long I only went to 100, hated to leave $60.00 on the ground, oh well. Btw great looking prop, sounds awesome. 1 Quote
Oscar Avalle Posted December 12, 2015 Report Posted December 12, 2015 I could not make it... my plane is down for maintenance... Quote

bradp Posted December 13, 2015 Report Posted December 13, 2015 Here's a YouTube version of Erik's prop. It's cool when it spools up and you can see the four blades frozen as well as the sound. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gRHI8vEv_Hw 1 Quote

Danb Posted December 13, 2015 Report Posted December 13, 2015 Erik you know I how to spell your name, it's seems once we hit a certain age a gremlin takes over our cognitive skillset and his elf friend changes the name from Erik to Eric without us noticing btw quite an easy feat. Any hints your ready to drop in re. to that asskicking paint job eh! Quote
